Fill The City is a Los Angeles–based experiential marketing and placemaking studio that transforms buildings, districts, and public spaces into cultural destinations.

Through murals, experiential activations, and brand partnerships, we help real estate developers, brands, and cities turn spaces into landmarks that drive foot traffic, attract premium tenants, and generate long-term visibility.

Our work blends public art, cultural storytelling, and strategic placemaking to create environments that people want to visit, photograph, and share both online and in real life.

Founder

Fill The City was founded by Montana Rose, a creative strategist and experiential producer specializing in placemaking, public art, and cultural activations.

Montana brings a holistic approach to transforming spaces combining creative direction, brand partnerships, influencer strategy, and community programming to unlock new value for properties and public spaces.

Her work spans projects across Los Angeles, Latin America, and China, giving her a unique cultural perspective on how art, design, and experiential programming shape the identity of cities.

What Makes Fill The City Different

Unlike traditional marketing or placemaking agencies, Fill The City combines three disciplines:

• Public art and mural programs
• Experiential marketing and cultural activations
• Brand partnerships and influencer amplification

This approach transforms buildings and neighborhoods into cultural destinations that attract visitors, generate media attention, and create lasting economic impact.

Experiential marketing is a vital piece of the puzzle, and according to Statista, 79% of U.S. marketers successfully generate sales by using it. When done right, these kinds of events and activations create an emotional connection that no other marketing effort can accomplish.
